On 29 January 2020, a meeting of LFFC Food Products Quality Cluster and the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry took place in the Ministry of Agriculture building. The Latvian food industry was presented to guests from all regions of Turkey, noting also the National Food Quality Scheme, with the Green and Red Spoon products exceeding the quality requirements of the European Union. Possible scenarios for promoting cooperation between producers in both countries were identified.

The contest among students of Latvian professional education institutions   “Young baker 2019” (“Jaunais Maiznieks 2019”) concluded on November 2019.
